STAGE TUBE: Teller Speaks! Penn and Teller Reveal the Origins of Their Show at Talks at Google

Penn & Teller will end their limited Broadway run on Sunday August 16 at The Marquis Theatre, but before the duo wraps up they are telling fans even more about the origins of their show. Check out an up close and personal interview at Talks at Google below!

Penn & Teller's return to Broadway, thirty years after their New York premiere and 40 years after they first started as a team, was received with both critical and popular acclaim. The New York Times called them "Ingenious!" and The Associated Press called them "As subversive and fresh as ever!" Time Out New York called them "Enchanting and wondrous. They'll blow your mind!" The Hollywood Reporter says "Catch them before they disappear."

The hugely popular duo was recently voted the 2015 Best Magicians for the eighth time in the Las Vegas Review-Journal's "Best of Las Vegas" poll. The Broadway engagement includes both elements of their Las Vegas show and classics from their repertoire.

Penn & Teller made their stunning off-Broadway debut in 1985 and first played Broadway in 1987. Following a national tour, they returned to Broadway in 1991 with The Refrigerator Tour which then moved off-Broadway. Their last New York stage appearance was a week-long engagement at the Beacon Theatre in 2000. Their numerous honors include an Obie Award, an Emmy, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
