Exclusive insight on creation of Vanessa Williams’s wedding invitations by Adorn Invitations.

Tony nominee Vanessa Williams tied the knot with longtime beau Jim Skrip in front of family and friends in a patriotic fourth of July ceremony this summer, and BroadwayWorld has footage from the big day below! Plus, check out close-ups of Vanessa and Jim's 14-carat gold-plated wedding invitations (designed by Adorn Wedding Invitations) and click below for a look at how they came about!

Vanessa and Jim met in 2013 while on a cruise of the Nile. Inspired by their first days together, the couple brought their Egyptian-themed wedding to Downtown Buffalo, where the ceremony was held at the St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church. The reception took place at Statler City, featuring decorations by Carla Measer Costamagna at Costamagna Design.

As a recording artist, Williams has sold over 25 million records worldwide and received 17 total GRAMMY nominations. Her platinum single "Colors of the Wind" from the soundtrack to Disney's animated hit film POCAHONTAS won the Oscar for Best Original Song.

On TV, she starred as 'Wilhelmina Slater' in UGLY BETTY, which earned her three Emmy nominations. Among her big screen work is the film SOUL FOOD, for which she won the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress and the Black Film Award for Best Actress. In 2007, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her accomplishments as a performer.

Her Broadway credits include her Tony-nominated role in the revival of INTO THE WOODS, as well as KISS OF THE SPIDER WOMAN, SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM, THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, AFTER MIDNIGHT and ST. LOUIS WOMAN at Encores! Williams will close out this year's Broadway @ Town Hall series in Provincetown this weekend.
