Tonight, March 8, an original special Freestyle Love Supreme airs on Pivot at 10pm ET. Check out two clips from the special below!

The high-energy, completely improvised hip hop show, from the two creators of the award-winning Broadway hit "In the Heights," was filmed Thursday night in NYC. The following two clips feature improvised raps based on that night's audience suggestions. In the first video, one of the audience members was asked to suggest a verb, and she chose "Pivot." Lin-Manuel raps accordingly. The second clip is an improvised rap ode to the newly-minted Oscar winner Lupita N'yongo from Utkarsh Ambudkar (Pitch Perfect, The Mindy Project) and the Hoverboard by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Dubbed by The New York Times as "Masters in the art of Freestyle rhyme," Freestyle Love Supreme uses rap to spin audience suggestions into fully-realized musical numbers. In addition to Lin-Manuel,"Freestyle Love Supreme" also stars Utkarsh Ambudkar, Anthony Veneziale, Chris Sullivan, Bill Sherman, Chris Jackson and Arthur Lewis. The show is created by Thomas Kail and Anthony Veneziale.
