Lexington School for the Deaf presents You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown, this weekend, March 21 and 22. It is the first deaf musical presented. Check out a sneak peek below! The show opened on March 7, 1967 and played for 1,597 performances in New York at the theatre 80 St. Marks with Gary Burghoff in the title role. This version was revived briefly on Broadway in 1971 and played for 32 performances at the John Golden Theatre. A new revival version was presented on Broadway in 1999 and played for 149 performances at the Ambassador Theatre with award-winning performances by Roger Bart and Kristin Chenoweth as Snoopy and Sally.

The show presents the days of Charlie Brown and his friends. With such favorite songs as "The Book Report" and "Happiness", this show is a classic portrayal of the famous comic strip characters. All of your favorites are there: Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Sally, Lucy, Linus, Schroeder, and a chorus of energetic kids. This production translates the beloved songs and stories into American Sign Language with singing interpreters for the hearing audience members.
Performances are tonight, March 21st @ 7:00pm and March 22nd @ 7:00pm. Tickets are $5.00 for students and $10.00 for adults
