SPIDER-MAN, TURN OFF THE DARK follows the story of teenager Peter Parker, whose unremarkable life is turned upside-down when he's bitten by a genetically altered spider and wakes up the next morning clinging to his bedroom ceiling. This bullied science-geek suddenly endowed with incredible powers soon learns, however, that with great power comes great responsibility as villains put both his physical strength and strength of character to the test. SPIDER-MAN aims to thrill audiences through a unique entertainment experience in ways never-before-dreamed-possible in live theater.
Though the early reviews have been far less than favorable for the $65 million giant, sales have been strong. A new ending for the production, added in mid-January, sends Reeve Carney as Peter Parker flying through the Foxwoods Theatre; the opening date is currently set for March 15th. Carney, who is also the eponymous frontman of the band which plays onstage during the show, sat down recently for the show's official YouTube to answer fan questions. Watch the video!
