Last night's episode of Saturday Night Live featured a Weekend Update spoof in which Seth Myers interviewed "Julie Taymor" about the recent events unfolding at SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK.  At one point, Taymor jokes that the mega-musicals bad luck comes from the two people in charge of props named Mac and Beth.

On Friday night, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark announced that they rescheduled their opening night for Tuesday, June 14, 2011 (two days after the Tony Awards) as part of a slew of changes including, what's now considered to be the complete removal of Julie Taymor from the production.  The exact details of her credits, payout and involvement are still being determined in complex legal negotiations.
