Erich Bergen of JERSEY BOYS Las Vegas is planning a Michael Jackson benefit concert to be held August 29th at the Palms, on what would have been Jackson's 51st birthday.

Performing "The Way You Make Me Feel" is Erich Bergen, also featured in the video is Jackie Seiden from the Las Vegas production, "Peepshow." Choreography by Nick Kenkel.

Bergen is co-producing the event with local writer/blogger Steve Friess of VegasHappensHere.com. All proceeds will go to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, with a focus on music education in Nevada public schools. The event will be held in The Pearl, the Palms' 2,500-seat concert venue.

The musical phenomenon JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, celebrated its year anniversary at The Palazzo Las Vegas on May 3, 2009 and has been named the number one show on The Strip by the Las Vegas Review-Journal and the Las Vegas Weekly.

A unique presentation of live music and drama, JERSEY BOYS is the story of how a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty. The show features such hits as "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You," "Oh, What a Night" and many more. JERSEY BOYS performs at The Palazzo Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 7 p.m.; Tuesday and Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. and dark on Wednesday.
