"SHREK" stopped the LATE SHOW with David Letterman last night when a costumed Regis Philbin drops by for a surprise visit with Dave! You can watch a clip right here on Stage Tube.

Beginning the week of April 27th "Live with Regis and Kelly" kicks off "On Broadway Week" where the popluar morning program will highlight some of the new musicals currently ruinning on Broadway.

The most intriguing part of the whole week is that Regis and Kelly will each be taking on the roles of some of the featured show's iconic characters!

"Live with Regis and Kelly" is executive produced by Michael Gelman, and is distributed by Disney«ABC Domestic Television. Produced by WABC-TV in New York, "Live with Regis and Kelly" airs in more than 200 markets across the country.

David Letterman marks his 25th year in late night comedy on Feb. 1, 2007, and this year also marks his 14th year as the host of the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN on CBS. After more than 4,500 late night broadcasts, he remains one of the most influential personalities in the history of television. Other than the late Johnny Carson, who hosted "The Tonight Show" for 30 years, no late night host comes near Letterman in longevity, critical praise and award recognition. Often imitated but never matched, Letterman presents, night after night, an unpredictable hour of innovative comedy.

Shrek The Musical stars Tony Award® nominee Brian d'Arcy James as Shrek, Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster as Princess Fiona, Tony Award® nominee Christopher Sieber as Lord Farquaad, Tony Award® nominee Daniel Breaker as Donkey and Tony Award® nominee John Tartaglia as Pinocchio.

Shrek The Musical is an entirely new musical based on the story and characters from William Steig's book Shrek!, as well as the Dreamworks Animation film Shrek, the first chapter of the Shrek movie series.
