STAGE TUBE: PBS Chairman Responds to Mitt Romney's Funding Cut Threats

With the first of last night's 2012 Presidential debates focussing on the economy, much of President Obama and Mitt Romney's discussion had to do with the national debt, creating jobs, and social security, but one of Romney's ideas about reducing govenment spending got most of the media attention- cutting funding for PBS. Romney said: “I’m sorry Jim, I’m gonna stop the subsidy to PBS. I like PBS, I love Big Bird, I actually like you too, but I’m going to stop borrowing money from China to pay for things we don’t need.”
