Calvin Berger, a musical retelling of Cyrano de Bergerac, will open tonight at the George Street Playhouse in New Jersey. The show will feature Broadway star Noah Weisberg as Calvin, alongside David Hull, Krystal Joy Brown and Dana Steingold. Previews for the production began February 10th.

Directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Kathleen Marshall (Broadway's The Pajama Game, Grease, Wonderful Town and TV's You're the One That I Want, The Music Man) this classic story of unrequited love and giddy days of young romance, has a sharp-witted script and rock musical score by Richard Rodgers Award winner Barry Wyner.

Calvin Berger is a modern day Cyrano - stressed out about a nose he can't hide and a girl he can't get. With a creative little scheme, some geeky charm and eloquent words, he goes to great lengths to have the star jock deliver his love-struck letters. But what if the girl of his dreams was right under his nose all along.

Noah Weisberg's (Calvin) Broadway credits include original casts of South Pacific (Professor), Legally Blonde (Aaron, Emmett u/s). Other NY: F#@king Up Everything (Winner - Outstanding Individual Performance), Two Gentlemen of Verona(Shakespeare in the Park, directed by Kathleen Marshall), Awesome 80's Prom (co-writer & co-star). Regional: Paper Mill Playhouse, Actors Theatre of Louisville. Tours: Big, Grease. TV: A recurring role on Law & Order, and guest appearances on The Good Wife, Law & Order: CI, Cashmere Mafia, and Love Monkey. Animated Series: Team Umizoomi, Kenny The Shark, and 2 seasons on Disney's JoJo's Circus. Film: Across the Universe, And Then Came Love, Nightmare, DOONCE! Noah can be seen & heard in over 100 commercials and is also the voice for the new cable network Halogen. He's a graduate of NYU (CAP21) and the founder of The Free Nationwide Resource for Performers: www.ImAnActor.com. Check out www.CastNoah.com for everything else Noah.
