Megan Hilty of Smash recently sat down with Baruch Shemtov of Young Hollywood to talk about her experience as an actor and how much fun it is to be on the Smash set. In this interview, Hilty reveals that Bernadette Peters has been her idol since childhood, discusses the original plans for her debut album, her fashion sense, and everything in between.

Megan Hilty made her Broadway debut as Glinda in Wicked and starred in the role in the Los Angeles production. She is a recent graduate of the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. Credits include "Café" (City Theatre), "Suds" (OCT) and "The Wild Party" (CMU). Megan is a recipient of the National Society of Arts and Letters Award for Excellence in Musical Theater. Currently, Hilty stars as Broadway star in the making, Ivy Lynn, on NBC's Smash.

But, they are all about to learn even a charmed show cannot avoid paying for sins of the past.
