Following the success of Disney's "Moana" which sailed to top box office rankings as one of the largest Thanksgiving openings of all-time, comes a YouTube musical epic from Dwayne Johnson's Seven Bucks Digital Studios and Lin Manuel-Miranda who put their production chops to the test with Millennials: The Musical.
Millennials: The Musical, which just premiered on YouTube, is a loving satire of musical theater and the millennial generation through the surprisingly uplifting story of a privileged Brooklynite, whose world comes crumbling down when she loses her phone, and with the help of her non-connected friend, goes on an odyssey through millennial culture to find it. The musical event explores connectivity, millennial stereotypes and missing out on the world if you're too plugged in. Millennials: The Musical is produced by Seven Bucks Digital Studios, the digital arm of Seven Bucks Productions, co-founded by Dwayne Johnson and longtime manager Dany Garcia, who tapped Manuel-Miranda to play a parody producer role.
