STAGE TUBE: Laura Bell Bundy Talks About Debut Video 'Giddy On Up'

Since its premiere, the music video for Laura Bell Bundy's debut single, "Giddy On Up," has become the most-streamed video at CMT.com. In this interview, Laura talks about her ultimate vision for the video, and discusses her experience of working with director Shane Drake, who won video of the year honors at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards for his work on Panic at the Disco's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies", in planning the production.

From Broadway musicals (Tony-nomination for Legally Blonde-The Musical and featured roles in Hairspray and Wicked) to Nashville, Laura Bell Bundy is no typical artist. For her first Mercury Nashville release, Laura Bell created a bold concept album for her first release Achin' and Shakin': "Achin'" is a collection of slow and sultry country songs, while "Shakin'" is a group of sassy songs that are equal parts humor, confidence and attitude. One side presents a modern-day mixture of Loretta Lynn, Minnie Pearl and Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw; the other unveils country's answer to Norah Jones. The debut single, "Giddy On Up," an upbeat and saucy kiss-off to a cheating lover.
