It appears that advertising for Sunday's Super Bowl is taking a nostaligic turn. Earlier in the week, Honda revealed that it will air a commercial featuring Matthew Broderick paying homage to his 1980's film role, 'Ferris Buerller'. Now, Acura has announced that its ad for the big game will feature comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his nemesis from the long-running NBC sitcom 'Seinfeld', the Soup Nazi, played by actor Larry Thomas.

In the ad, Seinfeld is at an Acura car dealership attempting to purchase the new NSX, however he is told that he is number two on the waiting list. In an attempt to move up the list, he calls in favors from friends including the Soup Nazi character.

Thomas' character only appeared in two Seinfeld episodes, yet he remains one of the most memorable characters in the series' history.
