To celebrate the third anniversary of the first performance of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, the production is rolling out a series of videos of dramatic readings of selections from Glen Berger's new tome, Song of Spider-Man: The Inside Story of the Most Controversial Musical in Broadway History. In this third installment, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark producer Jeremiah J. Harris reads a passage. Check it out below!

SPIDER-MAN co-book writer Berger penned this "tell-all" book about the behind-the-scenes battle that took place during the development of the Broadway musical Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark.

The show's original director, Julie Taymor, hired Berger to help her write the book for the troubled musical. Over time, the duo faced creative differences which almost led to a legal case. Taymor was ultimately fired from the production. Last April, it was announced that Taymor, along with Berger and the creative team of U2's Bono and The Edge and producers Jeremiah Harris and Michael Cohl, had reached an out of court settlement.

"Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" recently announced it would close January 4, 2013, at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre. The show is then set to transfer to Las Vegas.
