This week, Broadway veterans Adam Kaplan (Newsies) and Jake Boyd (Rock of Ages) appeared in a new video in support of the freedom to marry for same-sex couples for a new initiative called #LoveMustWin, coordinated by national gay rights organization Freedom to Marry, the campaign to win marriage for same-sex couples nationwide. Check it out below!

The duet, "Please Know," with music and lyrics by musical theatre songwriter Rebekah M. Allen (We Are The Tigers), was released on Facebook Wednesday afternoon and shared by Freedom to Marry, quickly attracting over 10,000 views in its first few hours. The song tells the story of a gay couple that met while undergoing cancer treatments and supported each other through their long and challenging recoveries.

Michael Crawford, Director, Digital and Creative, for Freedom to Marry, commented on the song's debut and explained more about the #LoveMustWin campaign: "With the Supreme Court hearing oral arguments in marriage cases in less than two weeks, it's more important than ever that Americans speak out about all of the reasons that #LoveMustWin. Across the country, supporters of the freedom to marry are sharing their support in varied and creative ways through this campaign, and it's wonderful to see the rapidly building buzz. It's exciting to see Rebekah M. Allen and Broadway vets like Adam and Jake literally raising their voices to say that #LoveMustWin."

Rebekah M. Allen, composer and lyricist for "Please Know," said: "While Please Know was written with a specific story in mind, it's also intended to be a universal song about how unconditional love can endure and thrive through times of adversity. I'm so grateful to work with talented performers like Jake and Adam to share it for the #LoveMustWin campaign at this pivotal moment in the gay rights movement."
