On Thursday, July 29th, Tony nominee Stark Sands from AMERICAN IDIOT visits MyFOX's Good Day New York. He talks about the show, his name, and meeting his future wife on a New Year's trip to England. Sands, who was nominated in 2007 for his role in JOURNEY'S END, plays Tunny in the Green Day musical.
AMERICAN IDIOT follows the journey of a new generation of young Americans as they strive to find meaning in a post 9/11 world. The musical, which is nominated for a Tony Award Best Musical, stars John Gallagher Jr., Starks Sands, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Christina Sajous, Mary Faber and Tony Vincent. The playing schedule for AMERICAN IDIOT until September 4th is Tuesday through Saturday evening performances at 8PM and Wednesday and Saturday matinee performances at 2PM.
