On last night's THE X FACTOR, the Top 10 had to perform rock music for the judges and voters. Once again, there were disagreements among the judges as to who performed the best.

Here is THE X FACTOR USA's Official web site recap of last night's show:

LeRoy Bell kicked the Rock themed night off with a revealing pre-performance package where he unveiled his tattoos. Yes, we finally met LeRoy's ink tonight and we likey! As for his performance of Bob Seger's soft rock love song, "We've Got Tonight" (one of Nicole Scherzinger's favorite songs, by the way), the judges were divided. "You're still not working it like a rock star," said L.A. Reid. Paula Abdul and Simon agreed. "Rock week, you should've been a shark. You're actually like a dolphin," said Simon.

Nicole, however, thought tonight was his best sounding performance. Simon vs. Nicole round one ensued, and then Simon and Steve Jones went at it when the judge took offense to the host calling the comments "horrible." This verbal battle round goes to LeRoy for keeping his cool amidst the chaos!

Rachel Crow performed one of the truest rock songs of the night -- the Rolling Stones' mega rock hit "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction." Did the sweetie pie pull off such a fierce song? You betcha! L.A. Reid loved it. Nicole adored it. Paula connected with it. Simon, meanwhile, revealed that Rachel came to him this week and said she really wants to win it, and added that he feels the fans are now "going to start to respect you as a singer."

Chris Rene, who opened up a bit more in his package on how he's staying sober, performed a song he grew up on, "No Woman, No Cry" by Bob Marley & the Wailers. "It's not my favorite performance by you," said Nicole to a booing audience. Paula, however, said "I buy into you. You're original." Mr. Cranky complained that it's a reggae song, not a rock song regardless of the fact that Marley's in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. L.A.'s retort? "Bob Marley was a rock star!" Yeah, Simon, take that!

Stacy Francis took on the power ballad "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" (a Meat Loaf song also made popular by Celine Dion) that showed off her vocal chops. L.A. enjoyed it. But Paula and Simon not so much. "This was my least favorite song you've ever performed... I just didn't feel it. You look lovely though," said Paula. Simon thought Stacy's hair was better this week, but called her song choice "horrible." "I wanted rock. That was a pebble. You are going backwards right now," said Simon. Stacy replied that she wanted to give her fans what they wanted. Did she?

Melanie Amaro performed a stripped down version of R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts" with just a piano for accompaniment. No dancers, no confetti, no fire flaring up in the background - just Melanie and the sentimental song. While L.A. criticized "That was so not rock," his comment was more of a dig to Simon in retaliation for his comments about Chris Rene's song choice. The audience started chanting "Melanie! Melanie!" while Nicole was talking about how she didn't quite connect with the performance. Simon said it reminded him of Adele and Alicia Keys. Now, that's quite the compliment!

Josh Krajcik brought the house down with a rockin' rendition of the Foo Fighters' "The Pretender," which is shocking in and of itself as it's one of the extremely rare times the band has cleared a song for a show like this. Unfortunately, the lovely Nicole didn't live up to her declaration in the package that she was going to go naked and streak during his performance. Now, who wouldn't vote for that? But, Josh didn't need nakedness to win him votes as he nailed the song to glowing reviews from the judges. "You're the only person that's really rocked this house tonight," said L.A. Paula called it "the best performance of the evening." Simon called it "bloody fantastic."

Astro kicked off his take on "I'll Be Missing You," the tribute song to the Notorious B.I.G. by Puff Daddy, Faith Evans, and 112 that uses part of the Police's "Every Breath You Take," with once again his own lyrical spin. "Oh Astro, Astro, Astro can you just suck for once? I don't think you can. You are phenomenal!" said Paula. Simon said, "You've got more maturity and intelligence than some of the older contestants on this show...I think you've got a shot at winning this, young man," said Simon. Ditto that for L.A.

Lakoda Rayne rocked out a mash-up of the Outfield's "Lose Your Love" and Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way." L.A. thought it was the first time he's seen the group have fun, but wasn't sure it was amazing enough. Nicole thought they "found their lane: country rock," but warned them to let go a bit more. Simon thought it was a "complete mess." Boo! Boo! Boo, cried the audience. He then took a dig at Paula calling her choreography "stupid." L.A. interjected saying, "You're being mean" to which Simon snapped, "Watch your back!" Un-com-fort-able! Think this performance was enough to keep them from going the way of inTENsity and the Stereo Hogzz?

Drew melted hearts with her touching take on the slowest song of the night, U2's "With or Without You." "You have maybe the most original voice of every contestant we have," said L.A., adding that she has what it takes to go the distance but wasn't convinced it was different enough from her previous performances. Nicole said she adores her and loves the song, but she was waiting for more energy and head banging. Paula advised her to try an up-tempo song next time to show diversity. Simon took his comments to new heights with: "Take no notice from the three witches on my right-hand side, particularly Cruella in the middle," said Simon. Cruella=Nicole. Dang, Simon! Who of the judges do you agree with?

Marcus Canty closed the show with Janis Joplin's "Piece of My Heart" amidst a backdrop of fire, scantily clad ladies, and gospel-esque backup singers. "You lit that stage on fire! That was crazy!" said Nicole. "You are the entertainer of this competition," said Paula. Simon said, "Your mentor, the Devil, just put you in hell," referencing the Church-raised moral singer perform with such sexy dancers. What do you think? Was Marcus in Heaven or Hell?
