Look around, look around: There hasn't been a kid craze this big since Elsa whipped off her gloves and decided to you-know-what! This time, however, it isn't Disney that's leading the charge, it's history, and it's not just happening in New York anymore. As part of a week-long celebration (#Hamilweek), youngsters across the country sent in videos of themselves singing "Schuyler Sisters" from the juggernaut Hamilton, to congratulate the hit musical's team on their one-year anniversary on Broadway. Check out these adorable kids below-you might even see a few Broadway faces-and see if you can help singing along!
With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, music direction/orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical won eleven 2016 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Choreography and Orchestrations. Miranda received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Hamilton.
