He was in the Broadway company when the production opened in 1988, is still in the current cast. He has been playing the role of André since 2000, having played Firmin for the preceding decade. Below, Andrews talks Phantom, what it has meant to him these past two decades and what it's like to be leaving the show after all this time after tomorrow's 9,382nd performance.
Prior to finding Phantom, Andrews appeared on Broadway in Merlin, On Twentieth Century, and A Little Night Music.
