Marvel Studios has released the first clip from the much anticipated THE AVENGERS. In the video, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is being held captive but quickly finds a way out of her bonds. The action adventure fantasy is coming to theaters on May 4, 2012 from Walt Disney Pictures. The film is directed and written by Joss Whedon and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Cobie Smulders, Gwyneth Paltrow, Paul Bettany, Stellan Skarsgård, Amanda Righetti, Tom Hiddleston and Lou Ferrigno.
