According to Entertainment Weekly, the stars of TV's Modern Family - the half-hour mockumentary comedy series created by Christopher Lloyd and Steven Levitan - taped the episode on May 16th in New York City.
"Inside The Actors Studio," the longest-running original series on cable TV, is now held at Pace University's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts. The new downtown venue replaced The New School University's Actors Studio Drama School. The interview show in which actors, writers and directors talk about their process and careers is now in its 17th season, with this season to feature shows with a number of stars. James Lipton serves the show's as producer and host.
