Arena Stage's newest space, the Kogod Cradle, held its inaugural presentation, the world premiere of Marcus Gardley's exploration of hate crimes in the American South, "every tongue confess," an exploration of hate crimes in the American South, according to the Washington Post.
The production features Phylicia Rashad, Jason Dirden and Leslie Kritzer and is directed by Kenny Leon. The creative team includes Ilona Somogyi (costumes), Allen Lee Hughes (lighting), Timothy M. Thompson (sound), and Joe Isenberg (fight director) and Chuck LaPointe (wigs). Dwight Andrews is the composer.
