Daniel Radcliffe stars in the upcoming film, "The Woman in Black," based on Susan Hill's novel of the same name. The Woman in Black film adaptation was overseen by Jane Goldman. The release date is currently set for February 3, 2012.
Radcliffe will play Arthur Kipps, a detective in this Victorian mystery. James Watkins (Eden Lake) directs the film, which began production on September 23, 2010. Hammer Films (of Exclusive Media Group) and Alliance Films produce.
Radcliffe is currently starring in HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, where it officially opened March 27. He'll depart the show on January 1, 2012 and will be succeeded by GLEE's Darren Criss.
