Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, has set the new record for the best opening weekend in movie history after earning $168.6 million, according to published reports.
The film, starring HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS's Daniel Radcliffe as Potter, was released on Friday. Ticket sales for the first showings of the film exceeded the $30 million record previously held by "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
Early weekend estimates for the film have it beating the 2008 Batman film "The Dark Knight," which previously held the title by earning $158.4 million.
