After last summer's hugely successful "Broadway Sings The 90's," 'The TRL Generation' returned to the Canal Room with "Broadway Loves Britney," a song and dance extravaganza paying tribute to our generation's princess of pop, Ms. Britney Spears. The concert was produced and musically directed by Benjamin Rauhala and directed by Kyle Fox, with musical arrangements and orchestrations by Joey Contreras, Benjamin Rauhala, and Charlie Rosen.

The career-spanning setlist featured new arrangements and exciting mash-ups of TRL classics like "...Baby One More Time," "(You Drive Me) Crazy," and "Oops!...I Did It Again" as well as Britney's more recent hits, including "3," "'Til The Word Ends," and the recent worldwide #1 smash, "Scream and Shout."

The star-studded cast included Corey Cott (Newsies), Taylor Louderman (Bring It On), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Emma Hunton (Rent, Spring Awakening), Will Blum (The Book of Mormon, Grease), Ariana DeBose (Motown, Bring It On), Corey Mach (Hands On A Hard Body, Godspell), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia), Janet Krupin (Hands On A Hard Body, Bring It On), Hannah Elless (Godspell, The Other Josh Cohen), Tess Soltau (Into The Woods, The Addams Family), Eric Krop (Godspell), Jesse JP Johnson (Wicked, Glory Days), Corbin Reid (Rent, Sister Act), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening, Hello Again), Gabe Violett (Spring Awakening), Tracy McDowell (Rent, 'The Next Big Thing: NY'), Sara Kapner (Bare, Hollywood Arms), Alice Lee (Bare, Spring Awakening), Ariana Groover (Bare), Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu), Marissa Rosen (My Big Gay Italian Wedding), Lyle Colby Mackston (Papermill's Spelling Bee), and Danny Quadrino (Bye, Bye Birdie).

The band featured Charlie Rosen on the bass, David Cinquegrana on the guitar, and music director Benjamin Rauhala and JorDan Jones-Reese on keyboards. Back-up vocals were provided by Lacey Angerosa, Chris Ingrao, Tara Minogue, and Jillian Soares.
