Award-Winning Composer Christopher Lennertz collaborates with Tony winner and two-time Oscar nominee David Zippel to write an original song for Marvel's AGENT CARTER. Since the show's premiere last year, Lennertz has scored the entire series. Below, check out "A Little Song and Dance" from last night's episode!

"It was such a thrill to collaborate on a song with David . His musical style blended well with the jazzy musical tone we were going for, especially on this episode. I am so honored to have had the opportunity to work on two ABC shows, and with two great talents on Broadway, David Zippel and Alan Menken." Lennertz and Menken write the score for GALAVANT together, and are collaborating on the score for the upcoming film Sausage Party. Menken has never collaborated on a score before until Galavant.

Agent Carter follows Marvel comics character Peggy Carter as she balances life as a secret agent and a single woman in 1940's America. In the second season, she moves from New York to Los Angeles to deal with the threats of the new Atomic Age in the aftermath of World War ll. For the score, Lennertz uses brass instruments to highlight the big band era and French Horns and strings to enhance the action scenes. "Peggy is sexy and seductive and with the strings one can slip into espionage and tension", Lennertz explains.

Lennertz's signature style often includes incorporating renowned musical talents in his compositions; he recently teamed up with Sheila E. and Arturo Sandoval for Ride Along 2.. His success ranges from star-studded films to popular television series and video games. His accolades include BMI Film Awards, two Saturn awards for Best Original Score, and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music for a Series for Supernatural.

For films, he has worked with members of many iconic bands including Pearl Jam, The Beastie Boys, and Dave Matthews Band. He collaborated with Latin rock band Ozomatli on the music for Tortilla Heaven, and later went on to arrange their album "Street Signs", which won a Grammy for Best Latin Rock album. Lennertz recent film credits include Ride Along 2, Horrible Bosses 2, and Identity Thief and his upcoming projects include My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, The Boss, and Sausage Party.
