Choreographer and performer Grady McLeod Bowman (Broadway's Billy Elliot, South Pacific, Wonderland, The Pirate Queen) puts his own spin on the "CUPS (When I'm Gone)" song, popularized by Anna Kendrick in Pitch Perfect, in the video. Click to check it out!

Featuring the talents of Broadway's Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!) and Nikki Bohne (Bring It On!), this acoustic duet version of "When I'm Gone" brings a whole new perspective to the song. The filmed performance includes tap dancing, body percussion, and of course the famed clapping on plastic cups, by some of the Broadway community's greatest dancers: Danny Gardner (42nd Street Tour), Ryan Kasprzak (SMASH - Asst. Chor., Billy Elliot Tour), Heather Tepe (Broadway's Matilda, Billy Elliot), Evan Kasprzak (Broadway's Newsies, SYTYCD), Tiffany Janene Howard (Broadway's Motown, Leap of Faith), Sarah Marie Jenkins (Legally Blonde Tour, Honeymoon in Vegas), Kelly Liz Bolick (NYMF's Volleygirls - Asst. Chor./Swing)

Filmed on location at The Green Building in Brooklyn, the video makes use of natural lighting and split screen elements to become more intimate with the storytelling and The Players in the performance.

Bowman originally conceived and workshopped the idea on students at The Performing Arts Project's 2013 summer intensive.

Produced by Grady McLeod Bowman, BranDon York, and Katherine Paige. Directed and choreographed by Grady McLeod Bowman. Filmed and edited by BranDon York. Sound production and mixing by Dan Weiner.
