TV and stage star Cheyenne Jackson took a break during his Kennedy Center rehearsal for "Music of the Mad Men Era", slated for New Year's Eve in D.C., to record the first episode of his "Songwriting Series". The holiday edition features the new song, "Squeeze Me, It's Christmas". watch!
Tony Award winning actress Nina Arianda will join Jackson on New Year's Eve, along with members of the National Symphony Orchestra. The evening, which Jackson performed at Carnegie Hall last year, showcases the sounds of the '50's and '60's including dance tunes, lounge music and bossa nova beats.
Jackson is the multi-talented actor, singer and songwriter known for his work on the Broadway stage in "All Shook Up", "Finian's Rainbow", "Xanadu" and "The Performers", as well as on the screen in "30 Rock", "Glee" , "Curb Your Enthusiam" and the PBS concert special "From Dust to Dreams". He has performed for sold out audiences at Carnegie Hall in "The Power of Two" with Michael Feinstein in 2010 and "Music of the Mad Men Era" with the New York Pops in 2011 as well as clubs and concert halls across the country.
