STAGE TUBE: CONAN Spoofs Broadway with New Rap Musicals!

As BroadwayWorld reported last week, a new musical inspired by the work of Tupac Shakur, titled HOLLER IF YA HEAR ME, is aiming to open on Broadway in the near future. Kenny Leon will direct a developmental lab, which is set to take place April 23 - May 11, 2012 in New York City.

Set in the present day on the inner-city streets of a Midwestern industrial city, the musical tells the story of two childhood friends (John and Vertus) and their extended families as they struggle to reconcile the challenges and realities of their daily lives with their hopes, dreams and ambitions.
