Wendy Williams is set to make her Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning revival of Chicago, joining the long-running musical in the role of Cook County Jail's "keeper of the keys"- Matron "Mama" Morton. Her 7-week run will begin on June 25th and wrap up on August 11.
Currently, actress and Sirius/XM radio host Christine Pedi takes on the iconic role where she joins Chicago cast members Amy Spanger as Roxie Hart, Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly,Adam Pascal as Billy Flynn, Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. In the video, Pedi, Spanger, Wright & more give Williams advice for her big debut!
Chicago is currently playing at New York's Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.)
