Rising star Rebecca LaChance talks about her character in Central Avenue Breakdown, last year's multi-award winning new musical at the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Watch the video!

Central Avenue Breakdown opens tonight, July 19, 2012, at the Alice Griffin Theatre in the brand new Pershing Square Signature Center. The show is being brought back by New York Musical Theatre Festival in association with Moldy Fig Productions, LLC as part of a Special Encore Presentation.

The show features new songs by Kevin Ray and a new book by Kevin Ray and Andrea Lepcio, with additional story by Suellen Vance. Kevin Ray won the 2011 Excellence in Writing - Music Award last year. It is directed again by director Christopher Windom, who won last year for Excellence in Choreography. Mr. Windom is also a 2012 Drama League Fellow. Orchestrations are by Justin Hornback again this year, Mr. Hornback won for Excellence in Orchestrations at the 2011 NYMF.
