Affectionately known as "America's Orchestra," the Boston Pops is the most recorded and arguably the most beloved orchestra in the country.
On May 10 and 11, you can attend a screnning of the complete 1939 classic film with original vocals and dialogue. However, the score will be performed live by the ochestra under the direction of Keith Lockhart, providing a brand-new way to immerse yourself in the wonders of Oz. Musical numbers include "If I Only Had Brain," "If I Were King of the Forest," and of course, Judy Garland's magical performance of "Over the Rainbow." Famillies should definitely come out to immerse themselves in the story of Dorothy on her journey down the yellow brick road.
