STAGE TUBE: Behind the Scenes with NEWSIES, Coming to Italy This Fall!

NEWSIES book writer Harvey Fierstein just posted a clip with behind-the-scenes footage of the musical's Italian cast in rehearsals. Check it out below!

For the first time in the world after the United States, NEWSIES, Disney's new stage phenomenon, arrives in Milan in an extraordinary, all-Italian edition. Set in New York, NEWSIES tells the story of the charismatic Jack Kelly and his band of young newsboys, struggling together to realize their dreams.

Inspired by a true story, the musical features a Tony-winning soundtrack composed by eight-time Oscar-winner Alan Menken, with lyrics by Jack Feldman and book by four-time Tony-winner Harvey Fierstein. The Tony-winning show premiered on Broadway in 2012.

NEWSIES begins October 31 and runs through December 27, 2015 at the Barclays Teatro Nazionale in Milan.
