In Part II of BWW's Labor Day celebration, we explore the diverse range of jobs that have graced the Great White Way. From Leo Bloom's secret desire to WANNA BE A PRODUCER to the tale of Sweeny Todd the BARBER, Broadway has seen many interesting professions throughout its history. It has employed everyone from Anthony, who works in the grocery store, saving his pennies for the day he'll be MOVIN OUT, to Charity Hope Valentine, who hopes her potential customers are BIG SPENDERS. There have been impressive representatives from the field of medicine, including a plant-loving DENTIST and a PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGIST. And while Princeton is not quite sure WHAT TO DO WITH A BA IN ENGLISH, Rosie is happy to advice him to become AN ENGLISH TEACHER. And only Yente would have the chutzpah to take on the job of MATCHMAKER. Yet the profession that trumps them all can be found under a white, hot spotlight - because as we know, THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS!
