On this past Saturday night's episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE on NBC, actor Alec Baldwin made light of his current conflict with American Airlines, posing as 'Captain Steve Rogers' on the show's Weekend Update segment hosted by comedian Seth Meyers

Last week, Baldwin was escorted off of an American Airlines flight after refusing to turn off the cell phone he was using prior to take off.  The actor had been playing the popular electronic game 'Words With Friends' and ignored the flight attendant's request to put the phone away.  The ensuing controversy which resulted caused a long delay for the flight's passengers as Baldwin was taken back to the gate.  He has since apologized to his fellow passengers, but has not issued an apology to the airline or flight crew.

On the SNL skit, 'Captain Rogers' apologizes to Baldwin, saying "I am ashamed at the way he was treated. I mean, what harm would it do to let him keep playing his game? Not just any game, mind you, but a word game for smart people."
