After four months and nearly 90 million votes, Season 11 of AMERICAN IDOL has its Top 2 finalists. Ryan announced that the first person to compete in Tuesday night's finale is Jessica Sanchez. The second person to compete is Phillip Phillips, meaning Joshua Ledet is heading home. But don't shed any tears for Joshua.
In his farewell video, Joshua said that he's "definitely proud" of himself for coming this far. And earlier in the show he said, "We're all winners at this point." Randy believes that the soul man has a "ginormous" career ahead of him, and while Jimmy didn't love his performances on Wednesday, he thought he "100 percent" deserved to be in the finale. But Joshua is a good sport. "If I end up not making it, I'm voting for both of 'em," he said of his two fellow contestants and friends. Speaking of the two finalists, tune in on Tuesday to see which one will be crowned the next American Idol at Nokia Theater L.A. LIVE. We can't wait!
