After last week's '80s theme, the Top 7 returned to the present Wednesday night with songs from 2010 to today, with help from guest mentor Akon and a lot of support from their hometowns.

Skylar performed Kellie Pickler's "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You," Colton sang the Skylar Grey version of "Love the Way You Lie," Jessica performed (and scatted to) Jazmine Sullivan's "Stuttering," Joshua got down to Bruno Mars' "Runaway Baby" (and received a happy birthday wish from Fantasia to Mantasia), Hollie sang Pink's "Perfect," Phillip put his spin on Maroon 5's "Give a Little More," and Elise closed the show with Lady Gaga's "You and I."
