On last night's episode of AMERICAN IDOL on Fox, the top 13 contestants battled it out to remain in the competition. In honor of the show's 400th episode, the producers decided to throw in a twist at this point in the competition. The guys (who sang Stevie Wonder songs) competed against the girls (paying tribute to the late, great Whitney Houston).

On Thursday, the bottom guy and bottom girl will be announced, and the judges will make the final decision about whose Idol journey ends this week. With the help of resident mentor Jimmy Iovine and guest mentor Mary J. Blige, it was a standout night for several contestants. Who will stay and who will go home? Find out tonight during the live results show!
