SPONGEBOB's Jesse JP Johnson Makes 'Broadway At Green's' Debut Tonight

Jesse JP Johnson will be presenting a concert tonight as part of the new "Broadway At Green's" cabaret series at Haswell Green's in midtown Manhattan.

In SongeBob Squarepants Johnson covers the Bob and other species of fish down in Bikini Bottom. You could have also seen him in Wicked (on broadway and 1st national tour playing Boq) Xanadu, 9 to 5, Grease (1st National as Doody) Altar Boyz (1st national and off-Broadway as Luke) and originated the role of Jack in Glory Days (also heard in the original cast recording). Aside from The Broadway, Jesse also is a singer/songwriter and debuted his EP on iTunes, Ginger Love, the summer of 2014. His performance on sept. 10th will feature these songs from his EP and debuting others newly written as well as some covers by Amy Winehouse, Amos Lee, Solomon Burke and Ella Fitzgerald.

Tickets are available at http://www.broadwayatgreens.com or at the door. Ticket prices range from $25 - $35, with a $10 food and drink minimum. Concerts are held Monday evenings at 9 p.m. Haswell Green's is located at 240 West 52nd St. in New York City. Next week's show will feature Michelle Dowdy (Hairspray, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Broadway Bares)
