SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark on Broadway has announced that its digital app has soared past 500,000 downloads and is now the most active daily app on Mobile Roadie.
The app was created in January 2012 by SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark’s Digital Agency, Situation Interactive, and is powered by Mobile Roadie. The app, which is free and available for iPhones, iPads, and Android devices, gives users first access to exclusive video content and special offers, music and photos from the show, and allows for easy ticket purchase. Users can integrate their social media accounts and engage with a ‘fan wall’ where users can post comments and photos in real time for all to see. Additionally, fans can compete to be among the top users of the app in order to unlock special rewards.
The SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark app has been the fastest growing app on the Mobile Roadie platform over the past 6 weeks.
Michael Schneider, Mobile Roadie CEO, commented, “Spidey has made expert use of our platform, and the results speak for themselves. By combining the best from the Broadway show and Spider-Man’s worldwide appeal, they created a virtual souvenir that users can’t seem to get enough of.”
