Usher in 2014 by rolling back the clock at NYC's sexiest party -- Speakeasy Moderne. On New Year's Eve, Tuesday 12/31 at 10pm, get swept up in a world where singers enchant, flappers flirt and dancers dazzle during a special night of live music, dance and cocktails. Located at STAGE 72 on the Upper West Side with host "Official Hank" Stampfl, Speakeasy Moderne will feature an intoxicating blend of Jazz Age Manhattan, vaudeville, cabaret and a touch of burlesque. As the clock ticks closer to midnight, Speakeasy Moderne will also join the Times Square revelers (in spirit) with a live big screen screening of the ball drop and glasses of bubbly for all.

Tickets for the special New Year's Eve show are $200 (which includes an open bar from 10pm-2am). The evening will feature singer and songwriter Dina Fanai, who has performed throughout the world with the platinum selling arena rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Also taking the stage will be stunning Burlesque Star Puss n' Boots. Additional cast members include Kristin Ewing, Jessica Lee Coffman and Nate Suggs and the evening will also feature pianist Yasuhiko "Yaz" Fukuoka, who has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Cannes Film Festival and venues in Europe, Asia, and Central America.

With songs ranging from the Tin Pan Alley era to the Golden Age of Broadway to today's pop charts, the show puts a modern twist on the old school, illicit speakeasy. Choreography is by Kimberly Schafer and makeup design is by Dex Phillip of Dex New York Cosmetics. Cocktail wear is encouraged and audience members are asked to come dressed in their best 1920's attire.

Musical numbers include "Steppin Out (With My Baby)" by Irving Berlin; "Edge of Glory" (Lady Gaga); "It Don't Mean A Thing" (Duke Ellington); "Proud Mary" (Tina Turner) and, of course, New Year's Eve's Anthem "Auld Lang Syne."

Master of Ceremonies -- "Official Hank" Stampfl - is a veteran of the North American Broadway tour of Evita, Kander and Ebb's Cabaret, as well as Hello, Dolly starring Sally Struthers. His latest release, a pop/dance CD produced by Heather Holley (Christina Aguilera), features such songs as "Life On Stage," "Know Me" featuring Richie Rich, and "Feel Good."

Speakeasy Moderne will play STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street) on Tuesday, December 31 at 10pm. Tickets are $200 each (which includes open bar from 10pm-2am) and can be purchased online at www.STAGE72.com.
