The phenomenal backstage documentary ONE NIGHT STAND is now available on DVD and BroadwayWorld has been bringing you a series of exclusive clips from the vaults over the last several weeks in anticipation of the fan submission contest finding a fresh star for this year's 24 Hour Musicals event and now the judges elaborate on their thoughts about the contest exclusively to BroadwayWorld.

From Ari Edelson: "Every year, some of stage and screen's most talented artists see if they are up to the challenge of "The 24." It generates a creative energy beyond any other, and to open it up to the public will only add to the excitement. We cannot wait to add this element to the adventure."

From Mandy Gonzalez: "I said yes to being a judge because I love it when people take a risk and put themselves out there and The 24 hour musicals is that times 100! To be an artist in NYC you have to be willing to risk and sometimes fall, but sometimes you can be a part of something truly wonderful. I think it is so important to give aspiring artists the chance to work and be onstage with professionals because it elevates everyone's game. To make that happen on a NYC stage is even more exciting. A true New York experience. I'm excited to see what people send in."
