an Francisco Camerawork www.sfcamerawork.org and Daylighted www.daylighted.com are very pleased to announce a new partnership that will help bring SF Camerawork's formidable collection of Bay Area photography to a wider audience. Using Daylighted's innovative, interactive exhibitions technology, our partnership will enable SF Camerawork to engage in experimental models for broadened access to contemporary art. This is a new kind of cross-sector collaboration for both local non-profit arts organizations and small business.

SF Camerawork's Fine Print program represents a deep commitment to supporting emerging and mid-career photography, and includes works by Ruth Bernard, Eve Arnold, David Levinthal, Janet Delaney, Richard Barnes, and David Maisel, among others. Funds from the fine print program go directly towards SF Camerawork's mission to support and promote contemporary photography in the Bay Area.

SF Camerawork's archive of fine prints will now be represented on Daylighted's digital exhibitions platform, and will be displayed at a growing number of public venues in the Bay Area. Daylighted partners with local businesses to install and manage digital galleries that display a customized collection of artworks. This partnership will create new channels for exhibiting SF Camerawork's fine print program, help to expand its membership, and support local and emerging artists.

"We are excited to be partnering with Daylighted and so appreciative of their initiative in reaching out into the local arts community to bring the work we do, and the artists we serve, to a wider audience."
- Heather Snider, Executive Director, SF Camerawork

About SF Camerawork

Founded in 1974, SF Camerawork is a non-profit arts organization whose mission is to encourage and support emerging artists to explore new directions and ideas in the photographic arts. Through exhibitions, publications, and educational programs, SF Camerawork strives to create an engaging platform for artistic exploration, as well as community involvement and inquiry.

SF Camerawork is supported in large part by grants from Grants for the Arts/San Francisco Hotel Tax Fund; The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts; San Francisco Arts Commission; The San Francisco Foundation; individual contributors; and SF Camerawork's Membership.
