SENSE & SENSIBILITY Will Feature Mary Michael Patterson, Robert Petkoff and More in Denver

Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) will present the world premiere of SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL, running April 5 - May 26 in The Stage Theatre.

Set to lead the musical are Stephanie Rothenberg as Elinor Dashwood and Mary Michael Patterson as Marianne. They will be joined by Nick Verena as Edward Ferrars; Robert Petkoff as Colonel Brandon; Jeremiah James as John Willoughby; Ed Dixon as Sir John Middleton; Ruth Gottschall as Mrs. Jennings and Joanna Glushak as Mrs. Ferrars.

The show has secured an all-star design team, wich includes scenic design by Allen Moyer, costume design by Esosa, lighting design by James F. Ingalls and sound design by Craig Breitenbach. As BroadwayWorld previously announced, the show will be directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge.

In this grand musical adaptation of Jane Austen's enthralling novel, we are drawn into the tempestuous world of the Dashwood sisters. Opposites in temperament, but equally determined to find love and happiness in spite of their desperate financial circumstances, sisters Elinor and Marianne struggle with betrayal, soaring emotions, dashed hopes and their own conflicting notions of ideal love. But while one follows her heart and the other her head, each triumphs romantically by remaining true to who they are.

SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL is based on the novel by Jane Austen. Directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge. Book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow, winner of the BMI Harrington Award for Creative Achievement. Music by Neal Hampton. Casting for SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL will be announced at a later time.
