Helene and Emily are New York-based writers who came up with the idea for Self Yelp one night at Starbucks. After spending extensive time looking for the most ridiculous and intriguing reviews they could find on Yelp and sharing hundreds of Google Drive docs while they worked, they decided on five diverse places and Self Yelp was born.
