Ryan Murphy has officially confirmed on Twitter that Season One and Season Two American Horror Story standout Frances Conroy will be joining the hit horror series for its third, as-yet-to-be subtitled season. This follows her story arc as a housekeeping ghost to the Harmon family in AMERICAN HORROR STORY's debut season and her role as the Angel Of Death as well as a tough-talking prison inmate in AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM.

Very few details about the next season of the boundary-breaking FX series have been released besides some teases by show mastermind Ryan Murphy alluding to "glamour" and three separate locales being included. Many speculate witches may be on the menu, though.

As previously reported, two-time Oscar-winner Jessica Lange will be returning for Season Three, as will Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga and Evan Peters. Additional casting has not been confirmed.

MORGAN. She may be best known to TV audiences for her highly-praised work on HBO's SIX FEET UNDER.
