Ryan Duncan, E. Clayton Cornelious, Jaime Cepero Launch New Concert Series

The Eclectic, a new musical collage created to "transcend musical boundaries in an effort to create unity and mutual understanding between musicians and audience members alike" will launch on June 15th as part of the Ars Nova 54/10 Music Festival. The evening will consist of various genres of music including pop, rock, musical theatre, R & B, country and jazz.

The inaugural concert boasts the talents of Nick Bonnar, Jaime Cepero (Smash), E. Clayton Cornelious (Wonderland, The Scottsboro Boys), Ryan Duncan (Altar Boyz, Shrek), Wendy Fox (We Will Rock You), Tasha Michelle (Being Alive), Margo Valiante, Anita Vasan, Curtis Wiley (The Lion King), and The Guggenheim Grotto.

The Eclectic is an innovative musical experience that will introduce New York audiences to various types of music through a central theme. The series aims to support organizations that enhance the cultural and social well being of NYC and develop and strengthen the community of NYC performers and give them a platform to perform and promote themselves. The first concert will offer "songs of inspiration and promote Broadway Impact (www.broadwayimpact.com), an organization founded by Gain Creel, Jenny Kanelos, and Rory O'Malley to fight for marriage equality.

The series will be produced by Rashad V. Chambers and Michael T, who will also serve as music director and host.

The festival will begin at 8pm and open with performances by Toys and Tiny Instruments and Nick Blaemire and The Hustle. The Eclectic begins at 9:30pm.
