The Sturm Und Drang Company will present Stupid Kids, a play by John C. Russell. Stupid Kids will run at the Red Room from May 26th through June 3rd.
"In the age of overspending, four young adults will find love amidst one the most tumultuous decades of the last century. Jim and Judy are with the 'in' crowd whereas John and Kim are the outcasts. Their lives change as they meet and their friendships grow creating a chain reaction of events where all bets are off. The sexual tension within this 'love square' will either pull them apart or bring them closer than ever. With an irresistible soundtrack to the 1980's, this story of self-discovery will remind us to 'never believe what they write on the desks,'" state press notes
Directed by Andre Diniz, the play will feature Trish LaRose, Eric Lesh, Kate Morgan Chadwick, and Topher Mikels.
The show will run on the following dates: Friday, May 26th at 10:30 pm, Saturday, May 27th at 10:30 pm, Wednesday, May 31st at 8:00 pm, Thursday, June 1st at 8:00 pm, Friday, June 2nd at 8:00 pm, and Saturday, June 3rd at 8:00 pm.
