Rue 57, New York's only brasserie-sushi bar will begin offering live jazz music on Thursday evenings in their downstairs Salon beginning June 17 from 8pm - 11:30pm. The weekly series will feature some of New York's finest musicians, many of international renown. Kicking off the series will be saxophonist Grant Stewart, a tenor saxophonist steeped in the jazz tradition, on June 17. Also featured in the series will be veteran players Frank Wess and George Garzone.
